Projects start with consultations to finalise materials, sizes, and print specs. After approval, we proceed to pre-press for colour and layout verification before full production. Using specialised equipment, products are printed, cut, folded, and assembled to specifications.

Finally, each order undergoes quality checks before careful packing and dispatch, guaranteeing that clients receive products that meet both functional and visual standards.

Discussions and research stage

Project Consultation & Specification

The process begins with confirming the project requirements including size, materials, print finishes, quantities, and delivery deadlines.

Allow: 1–3 days

Quoting and planning stage

Estimation & Quoting

Specifications are confirmed, the concept is quoted and we begin estimating calculations of your desired product. Once quoted we are able to give an estimated production timeline.

Allow: 1–2 days

Order confirmation stage

Order Placed & Confirmed

Once all project details, specifications, and artwork have been approved, your order is formally placed and confirmed. A purchase order or written confirmation is required to proceed to production scheduling.

Our team will confirm receipt of your order and provide a final production timeline based on current scheduling. You will be notified of your expected dispatch date at this stage.

Artwork & Materials

Pre-Press & Artwork Preparation

During the pre-press stage, artwork templates are drawn for client use and (if applicable) materials are prepared for production. Proof submissions are checked for colour accuracy, bleed, layout, and structural requirements before production.

Template Preparation: 2–5 days

Proofing Process: 5–14 working days depending on client processes

Production Stage

Manufacturing Execution

Full-scale production begins only once the final artwork proof has been approved.

  • PVC / Polypropylene products: Approximately 15 working days
  • Casemade products: Approximately 15–20 working days
  • Complex engineering or specialty finishes: Minimum 25 working days

May extend beyond standard lead times due to sourcing, compliance, or technical intricacies.

Inspection Stage

Quality Assurance & Inspection

Ongoing in-process checks against specifications and design drawings. Final inspection of dimensions, functionality, finish and branding accuracy.

Duration: Throughout manufacturing, with emphasis before dispatch.

Dispatch Stage

Delivery & Logistics

All orders at Abbey Manufacturing Group are carefully packed using protective materials and shipped via flexible delivery options across Australia. Clients receive tracking information and dispatch notifications to stay informed until their order arrives safely.

Products within our PVC and polypropylene range have minimum order quantities (MOQs) that must be met, with volumes varying depending on the product. Our casemade items operate under a minimum spend requirement rather than a set volume, with the total based on the specifications and complexity of the project.

We offer pre-press services and supply design templates to assist clients in preparing production-ready artwork. Our pre-press team is on hand to support your designers with any artwork submissions.

Artwork should be prepared in accordance with our Artwork Guidelines, which outline file formats, bleed requirements, colour settings, and resolution specifications. A link to download the full Artwork Guidelines is provided on our website for your reference.

Artwork files can be submitted directly to your account manager or the main point of contact managing your order. This ensures your files are reviewed promptly and prepared for pre-press.

Once an order has been placed we can provide unbranded samples at the cost of labour and materials. Branded samples are available upon discussion with your sales representative.
